There are an awful lot of Confederate battle flags around the South Island. I think they think it just means "South", and not "Slavery of an entire race of human beings".

Another completely bizarre and inappropriate item. I keep telling myself that the Kiwis don't have a lot of racism and therefore don't understand that this is not cool, man. Not cool.
