Scenery around New Zealand

My new car! Well, a 1972 Morris Mini Clubman but it only has 42k miles on it and one owner since new!

This is a view from atop the Port Hills on the south side of Christchurch looking south into Lyttelton Harbour

Another view into Lyttelton Harbor

View looking east into the Pacific Ocean from the road to Godley Beach Park

Another view on Godley Head Road, this time looking north.

Sunset at my house.

Another sunset shot.

Hobbitville, north of Kaikoura. Met the Mayor, nice guy. Hairy feet.

Beach at Kaikoura

"Redcliffs" at Sumner

Sumner Beach

Mt. Egmont at the southern end of the North Island. The perfect circle around the mountain is the border of the national park.

Abandoned gun emplacements at Godley Head. These were used to guard against attack on Lyttelton Harbour during WWII.

"Zane was here. Lovely place..." Thanks for the input, Zane.

Kite surfing at Waikuku Beach. I set the camera up on a tripod and luckily was able to get a picture of myself totally ratcheting on a wicked air wave.
